Position Summary

We are seeking a confident, self-starting Designer to join a small and mighty team of creatives producing effective marketing for stakeholders across the organization. This person will report to the Director of Creative Operations and will own design work across both print and digital media, turning copy and concepts into compelling, on-brand layouts that resonate with the intended audience.

The ideal candidate brings a genuine “figure-it-out” attitude to every brief. They are comfortable managing revisions with stakeholders, receiving feedback gracefully, and steering a project from concept to delivery without losing sight of brand standards or deadlines.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely curious about AI and already familiar with how it can support their work. Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to continue using them at varying stages of the creative process is key. You will be encouraged to experiment on your own, discover tools that fit your workflow, and find ways to work more efficiently and elevate the quality of what you produce.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials across both print and digital media, including marketing collateral, event materials, merchandise, presentations, flyers, brochures, booklets, email headers, social media graphics, and more.
  • Work closely with the Director of Creative Operations as well as with design colleagues and the broader creative team to create compelling designs that adhere to established brand standards and style guides.
  • Use Asana for project management to work on your tasks, receive assignments, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Manage revisions with stakeholders, receiving feedback gracefully and translating it into refined, on-brand deliverables while keeping projects on schedule.
  • Treat creative as a collaborative, iterative effort. Iterate openly, communicate design decisions clearly, and guide stakeholders through the rationale behind creative choices.
  • Explore and integrate AI tools into your day-to-day workflow in ways that support ideation, drafting, asset generation, and production, improving both speed and output quality.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects within a deadline-driven environment.
  • Keep working files, assets, and image resource files organized and easily accessible to the team.
  • Collaborate comfortably with a remote creative team, staying connected and aligned across distance.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
  • A portfolio of your work, submitted with your application. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Demonstrated experience across both print and digital media.
  • Strong concept and design skills, with the ability to clearly communicate design decisions to stakeholders and teammates.
  • Confident self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable managing revisions with stakeholders and open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • A “figure-it-out” attitude. Resourceful, adaptable, and ready to problem-solve.
  • Highly organized, with a track record of maintaining clean, organized working files.
  • A willingness to explore and integrate AI tools into your daily workflow to improve efficiency and creative output.
  • Comfortable working with a remote creative team.

Preferred / Bonus:

  • Video editing or motion graphics experience (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Figma, web design, or HTML experience.
  • Familiarity with Optimizely or a similar CMS
  • Additional technical skills beyond core graphic design.
