Position: QC Analyst
Pay: Up to $24/hr d.o.e. plus benefits
Location: US Remote, Hybrid if located within 31 miles of Santa Ana, CA or Austin, TX & will need to work 4 days on-site
Summary: Primary responsibilities include assisting the Quality Control Department with clerical functions, preparing files for audit, and analysis support for various audit types. This position requires experience and a general understanding of investor and agency QC policies. Working in a paperless environment and LOS, the Quality Control Analyst is expected to complete loan level and data analysis as requested by QC Management. This position also works closely with AVP of Post QC, QC Auditors, and other operational departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Review loan files for specific Post QC tax transcript requirements, order tax transcripts, compare tax transcript results to loan file, maintain tax transcript reporting.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); five or more years’ mortgage processing and/ or QC experience preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word word-processing software; MS Excel spreadsheet software and Internet Explorer, MS Outlook internet software.
