Overview

Title: Broker Product Analyst

 

Location:  U.S. Remote

 

Pay: $70-$85k/yr DOE

 

Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities

  • The Broker Product Analyst has a complete understanding and thorough knowledge of mortgage products and pricing as well as to effectively read and understand mortgage underwriting guidelines and rate sheets.
  • Review, research, and respond to product inquiries and product guidelines, questions, through a Scenario Desk environment.
  • Manage Broker Scenario Desk inbox and respond to inquiries from all internal and external customer groups within a timely manner.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to position New American Funding as a leader and industry expert.
  • Assist Product Development Team with execution of new product implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with New American Fundings policies, processes, and practices.
  • Create, update, implement and maintain all broker product guidelines and eligibility requirements.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Will consider experienced processor/ jr. underwriter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities, effective time management.
  • Strong analytical skills: effective decision-making with the ability to appropriately exercise independent judgment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as effectively function as a member of the Product Development Team.
  • Accountability; strong work ethic.
  • Excellent customer service focus.
  • Strong ability to synthesize and communicate results of data analysis.
  • The ability to maintain and work with confidential information.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with a focus on MS Word & Excel
  • In-depth understanding of the mortgage loan landscape and the associated regulatory environment.
