Position: Loan Officer Assistant
Location: Lafayette/ Walnut Creek, CA
Hybrid – Remote or In-Office (PST hours required)
Pay: $24.00 /hr. + 2-3 bps per file Bonus (Total Earnings Potential: $60,000–$80,000 annually depending on experience)
Position Summary:
We are seekibg for a Loan Officer Assistant to support a top-producing Loan Officer and help deliver a smooth, efficient, and client-centered mortgage experience. Mortgage experience is a plus, but not required.
This role is ideal for someone highly organized, people-focused, and detail-oriented—someone who takes pride in doing things the right way and creating a seamless experience for clients and partners. You’ll serve as the first point of contact and play a key role in setting the tone for a high-touch, “white-glove” experience.
As the LP1, you are the gatekeeper for new clients—responsible for making a strong first impression, scheduling consultations that convert, and ensuring clients feel supported from the very first interaction. Think of this role as a concierge: welcoming clients, guiding them through the early stages, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Responding to new leads and scheduling consultations
• Following up with clients to move them toward pre-approval
• Managing the Loan Officer’s calendar and inbox
• Coordinating with referral partners and internal team members
• Ensuring every client interaction is smooth and professional
