Overview

Position: Pre-Foreclosure Supervisor

 

Location: US - Remote OK - (Required to work Hybrid if living within 31 miles of Austin, TX)

 

Compensation: $50K-80K, DOE

 

Position Summary:

The Pre-Foreclosure Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day activities of a team of Pre-Foreclosure Analysts. The Supervisor provides development, direction, and guidance to all team members to accomplish department objectives. The Supervisor is responsible for establishing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company, investor, federal and state regulatory guidelines and servicing guidelines established by the CFPB governing loans in Foreclosure.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervises daily operations of Pre-Foreclosure Associates, ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures, applicable government and investor guidelines and ensuring that borrower inquiries, disputes and complaints are handled within specified timelines and CFPB guidelines.
  2. Coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements.
  3. Provides support to the team for questions and training.
  4. Ensure staff are knowledgeable of Pre-Foreclosure requirements.
  5. Monitor to ensure Foreclosure first legal dates are met and Foreclosure bid amounts are correct.
  6. Works with senior management to ensure all compliance standards are met.
  7. Works with employees to define goals and meet monthly to discuss progress.
  8. Performs employee reviews.
  9. Develops, reviews, maintains and improves Pre-Foreclosure workflow management.
  10. Completes status reporting to senior management.
  11. Works with senior management to identify, define and implement process changes.
  12. Assures all Foreclosure Pre-Foreclosure SLA’s are met.
  13. Updates and maintains policies and procedures
  14. Performs oversight of all Pre-Foreclosure vendors.
  15. Responsible for the alignment, supervision, hiring, mentoring, and coaching of the Pre-Foreclosure staff.
  16. Completes audit requests from internal auditors, QA or QC personnel.
  17. Fully complies with all applicable mortgage industry laws, rules, regulations and investor requirements and CFPB Servicing Guidelines.

Qualifications

1. Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
2. Must have demonstrated ability to collaborate and work well with others.
3. Must have demonstrated ability to achieve goals.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
5. Has knowledge of commonly used terminology, concepts and practices and procedures within the mortgage industry.
6. Knowledge of MSP, with at least (2) years recent experience working with MSP.
7. Good business writing and math skills.
8. Analytical and organized.
9. Strong PC skills. Must be proficient in MS Windows, MS Outlook and MS Office Suite. MS VISIO and MS SharePoint experience a plus.
10. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.


Desired Education/Experience:
1. The ideal candidate should have (4+) years' experience in Default and/or Foreclosure.
2. Minimum (2) years of supervisory experience.
3. History of reliable attendance.
4. Ability to work a schedule that includes some weekends.
5. Must be able to pass background investigation.
6. Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the essential job functions.
