Overview

Position: VOE Specialist

 

Location: U.S. Remote

 

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am-5pm local time

 

Pay: $15.00/hr

 

Position Summary:

New American Funding is looking for an organized Verification of Employment Specialist to support the Processing Department. The VOE Specialist will be responsible for contacting current and previous employers of NAF borrowers to verify employment prior to pre-approving a borrower for a home purchase.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for calling the HR departments of borrowers in order to verify employment
  2. Responsible for doing both written and verbal VOEs
  3. Conducting VOEs from coast to coast; different time zones
  4. Conducts about 50 VOEs daily
  5. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. One or more years’ working as a Loan Processor, Jr. Processor, Loan Setup, Loan Officer Assistant, and/or equivalent mortgage operations role
  2. Familiarity with completing written verifications of employment

Desired Education/Experience:

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  2. 1-2 years' experience working with mortgage loans preferred;
  3. Recent customer service and/or sales experience

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
