Overview

Position:  Collateral Reviewer

Location:  Full-time On-site: 18583 Dallas Pkwy, Suite 160, Dallas TX 75287

Pay:  $17 - $19/hr d.o.e.

Summary: The Post-Closing Collateral Reviewer responsibilities include, preparing collaterals and endorsements based on Warehouse guidelines. Clearing exceptions to push the banks to Dry the Notes. Assist with resigns and Note corrections as well as RUSH doc requests for funding.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare collaterals per Investor/Warehouse
  • Ship collaterals via Fedex per Warehouse
  • Upload shipping information into Encompass
  • Upload Fedex shipping information into folder
  • Login files that ship to Plano, Texas
  • Assist in resign Notes.
  • Clear exceptions to get the banks to dry the loans.
  • Prepare endorsements/allonges and process for execution.

Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED.
    • Some College
    • 2 + years’ mortgage experience preferred – Post Closing, Mortgage Operations, Processing, Underwriting, Funding, and/or QC
  • 2+ years’ working in post-close collateral department or post-closing department
  • Encompass 360
  • Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans, and investor guidelines.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Prior experience and proficiency with Loan Origination Systems and Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
