We are seeking a strategic and highly organized Enterprise Portfolio Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise initiatives—from idea intake through prioritization, governance, and execution oversight. In this role, you will ensure enterprise investments are aligned with business objectives, resources are allocated effectively, and initiatives deliver measurable value. As a key partner to executive leadership, Product, Technology, and Business Operations, you will drive visibility into portfolio health, facilitate enterprise decision-making, and enable focused execution through data-driven governance. This role is critical in connecting strategy to outcomes, ensuring NAF’s most important priorities are delivered in a predictable, transparent, and high-impact way.

Responsibilities

  • Idea Intake & Evaluation: Oversee the centralized intake process for new initiatives, enhancements, and requests submitted by internal teams. Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders to assess needs, feasibility, and strategic fit.
  • Portfolio Governance: Develop and maintain prioritization models that balance innovation, compliance, risk, and operational efficiency. Lead portfolio governance forums to ensure initiatives are aligned with strategy and resourced appropriately.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with executive leadership to define and maintain alignment between corporate strategy and portfolio investments.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Product, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and Operations leaders to facilitate portfolio-level planning, dependencies, and risk management.
  • Performance & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and communications that provide real-time insights into portfolio health, status, ROI, and capacity utilization.
  • Capacity Planning: Monitor and assess team and resource capacity to ensure initiatives are adequately staffed and achievable within defined timelines.
  • Intake & Demand Management: Oversee the intake process for new initiatives, ensuring clear evaluation criteria, business case review, and impact assessments.
  • Change Management Support: Support enterprise-level change initiatives with structured rollout planning, adoption tracking, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify portfolio-level risks and issues, and drive mitigation strategies in collaboration with initiative owners and functional leaders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Refine intake, evaluation, and portfolio management processes to increase transparency, predictability, and efficiency across the organization.
  • Internal Enablement: Develop training, templates, and resources to help teams understand intake expectations, prioritization criteria, and portfolio processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise portfolio management, program management, or strategic operations, ideally within fintech, mortgage, financial services, or SaaS environments.
  • Deep understanding of portfolio governance frameworks, prioritization models, and cross-functional program execution.
  • Strong knowledge of agile and hybrid delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
  • Experience in a regulated industry or working within compliance-focused environments (e.g., mortgage lending, financial technology).
  • Proficiency in project/portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Clarity, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly analytical with experience managing metrics-driven reporting for portfolio and program performance.

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
