Overview

Position: Investor Conditions Clearer

 

Location: Remote / Hybrid if living within 31 miles from Corporate office in Tustin, CA or Austin, TX

 

Pay: $21/hr.  

 

The Investor Condition Clearer responsibilities include clearing all conditions for Investor and Bond loans including conditions with Master Servicer as well as the Housing Finance Authorities to ensure loans are purchased in a timely manner. Working internally with both operations and sales teams. Some Borrower interaction required.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible to pull deficiency reports and Purchase Advises from investors assigned.
  2. Contacts operations team members `for document corrections where applicable.
  3. Contacts borrowers for document corrections where applicable.
  4. Effectively dispute invalid deficiencies with investor and/or DPA program.
  5. Reviews TRID documents, ie. LE & CD, for accuracy and to ensure they are compliant of the TRID timeline.
  6. Escalates issues, repurchase requests, and unsellable loans in a timely manner to management.
  7. Tracks any common deficiencies and works close with Bond Reviewers/Shippers
  8. Works directly with Frist American Title for reconveyance and assignment requests.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  10. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans, and investor guidelines.
  2. Must have excellent attention to detail.
  3. Prior experience and proficiency with Loan Origination Systems and Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  4. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Education/Experience:

  1. High School diploma or GED.
    3 years' prior residential loan closing, post-closing or QC experience preferred.
  2. Prior experience with clearing conditions with mortgage loan investors (Fannie, Freddie, Ginnie, etc)

 

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
