Overview

Position:  Junior Polly Administrator

 

Location:  Remote or Hybrid (depending on candidates location to Tustin, CA or Austin, TX)

 

Schedule: 9-5pm PST, with flexibility to accomodate West Coast business hours

 

Compensation: 55-65K, DOE + Bonus eligible

 

Position Summary:  New American Funding is seeking a Junior Polly Administrator to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Polly Administrator, this role is responsible for programming, auditing, and maintaining portions of New American Funding’s Product and Price Engine, Polly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and is eager to contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our pricing engine operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in programming and configuring Polly to support New American Funding’s product and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits of Polly to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update assigned sections of the Product and Price Engine, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Collaborate with the Polly Administrator and secondary marketing team to implement pricing changes and product updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues within Polly, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Provide support for data analysis and reporting using Polly’s outputs to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in secondary marketing within the mortgage or financial services industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to maintain accuracy in data entry, auditing, and system maintenance.
  • Availability: Must be able to work West Coast hours or until 5:00 PM PST to align with team schedules.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and propose solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

 

Desired Education / Experience:

  • Familiarity with mortgage pricing engines or similar financial software.
  • Basic understanding of programming or scripting for system configurations.
  • Experience with data auditing or quality control processes.

 

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
