Overview

Position:  Lock Desk Analyst

 

Location: REMOTE OK - (Hybrid 2 days on-site if living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX)

 

Schedule: Must be able to work Pacific or Central Time zones

 

Pay: 50-70K D.O.E.+ bonus eligible

 

Position Summary:

The Lock Desk Analyst's primary responsibility will be to support the Lock Desk by processing rate lock, change, and extension requests while adhering to and enforcing rate lock policies. Advanced candidates will provide real time training, process enhancement suggestions and support within Secondary Marketing and cross-functional departments. 

Responsibilities

  1. Process rate lock requests in Encompass; clearly and effectively communicate with requestor(s) as needed.
  2. Process change requests, reprice requests and extension requests. Assist Loan Officers with post-lock file inquiries.
  3. Work closely with VP, Secondary Marketing to implement system changes, testing and process flow enhancements.
  4. Assist with system, product and procedural inquires.
  5. Other duties may be assigned.

Job competencies:

  1. Prior Secondary Marketing or Capital Markets experience preferred, but not required.
  2. Strong Mathematical/ Analytical Skills, Deductive Reasoning and Attention to Detail required.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

Desired Education/Experience:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  2. 2+ Years Mortgage Lending Experience or Equivalent Coursework preferred.

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
