Overview

Summary: Seeking a highly motivated and well-spoken mortgage Purchase Sales Coach needed for our Consumer Direct sales floor.  This is also an excellent opportunity for a current mortgage Loan Officer who is seeking career advancement.  This individual is responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of sales coaching to Loan Officers. The candidate must be able to assess Loan Officers’ sales presentation strengths and areas of improvement and must design, develop and administer relevant coaching resources and curriculum.  The desired candidate must be capable of acting with a high degree of independence with the responsibility of having a direct positive impact on the coaching recipient’s origination production. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Monitor recorded and/or live Loan Officer sales calls and deliver individual, face-to-face coaching
  • Provide individual coaching feedback to Loan Officers at least 25 times each week (5 individual coaching sessions per day)
  • Track coaching sessions, feedback, and progress of each Loan Officer and share with the Sales Manager
  • Lead at least 4 separate group sales coaching sessions each month
  • Lead a half day group sales strategy session immediately after each new hire training class
  • Collect, analyze, sanitize, and upload best practices sales call recordings to the Company Web sales training page to build the self-serve Loan Officer call library
  • Evaluate the impact of coaching programs on the efficiency, accuracy, productivity and/or profitability of our sales division.
  • Make recommendations for continuation, revision or elimination of programs as necessary.
  • Research outside coaching resources; consults with others business units within NAF to identify current, effective sales trends.
  • Create and maintain written coaching curriculums and documents.
  • Work alongside the VP of Sales Training, and VPs and EVP of Production for Consumer Direct Sales

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

                                        

  • Must have at least 2 years of recent mortgage Loan Officer Experience
  • Recent experience as a Loan Officer at NAF preferred
  • Prior mortgage sales training experience preferred
  • Internal candidates must be in good standing within their current role

Internal candidates must obtain manager approval for application submission
