Overview

Position Third Party Risk Management - Risk Specialist

 

Location:  Remote

 

Compensation:  55-65K, DOE

 

Job Summary: The New American Funding (“NAF”) Third Party Management (TPM) team is responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors by conducting risk assessments, due diligence, contract negotiations, ongoing monitoring, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, all aimed at mitigating potential risks associated with third-party interactions. As a TPM Risk Specialist you will focus on vendor performance through the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), vendor service level agreements and contractual standards. The TPM Risk Specialist will collaborate cross functionally to support the overall business strategy while focusing on automation, efficiency and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage various stages of the third-party lifecycle
  • Contract terms and conditions analysis
  • Coordination of contract signatures via eSign software
  • Quality control to ensure contractual redlines are accurately embedded
  • Liaison between vendors and various business units
  • Manage a queue of work with standard SLAs that must be met or exceeded
  • Create vendor profiles within NAFs vendor management platform
  • Maintain data integrity through regular review of NAFs vendor list
  • Monitor vendor relationships for changes in scope and risk
  • Assist with the development and enhancement of vendor risk assessments
  • Evaluation of vendor scoping assessments to ensure alignment between NAF business units and vendor expectations

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • Risk management experience in a regulated environment preferred
  • Mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of third-party lifecycle
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently land meet deadlines
  • Efficient, able to prioritize work, and sense of urgency
  • Problem solving by effectively researching and analyzing issues while demonstrating good judgment
  • Strives in a fast-paced environment
  • Thrives in team environment
