Construction & Renovation Coordinator

Position Title: Construction & Renovation Coordinator

Report to the VP of Construction and Renovation Lending and assist with the daily process, function, and management of the Construction and Renovation loan programs. Provide assistance in managing the Construction and Renovation Pipeline for the Pre-Close Loan Process.

Pay:  $28.25/hr + quarterly bonus+ full time benefits

Location: Remote OK - If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule

• Assist Loan Officers with renovation/construction loan structuring and program guidelines
• Communicate and work with all Departments to resolve any construction/renovation loan post-closing issues
• Review construction/renovation conditioned items prior to uploading for the Underwriter to review for condition clearance
• Condition Reviews on Renovation Loans:
• Review renovation/ construction documents to verify documentation requested by the underwriter has been uploaded and are correct.
• Communicate discrepancies for corrections in the Renovation/ Construction Review Form Tab.
• Order and Review Final Appraisals regarding renovation/construction items & loan program requirements.
• Work with third party construction Management Company to obtain all required builder draw requests documents.
• Work with and communicate to all builders the draw funds disbursement requirements and process
• Communicate with the accounting department on all construction draw disbursements and outstanding third-party invoices to be paid
• Obtain and submit modification documentation from third party vendors (title, survey, and final appraisal inspection) for loan modification/review approval
• Assist servicing with payment management entry from Encompass into Company Servicing and Accounting System

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 2 years Mortgage experience
• Renovation and construction loan experience
• Builder and Contractor Review experience
• Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and management, and excellent customer
• Mortgage System and platform experience – Encompass, Ellie Mae, Etc.

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
