Summary:
At New American Funding (NAF), we believe design is the bridge between people and the systems they rely on—especially in
moments as meaningful as buying a home. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can craft intuitive, accessible, and
delightful experiences for our enterprise platforms.
In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. You’ll collaborate with
researchers, designers, and engineers to shape product experiences from concept through execution, evolving our design
system and enhancing how people interact with our tools every day.
This is a great opportunity for a system thinker with a strong visual craft and deep understanding of design systems, enterprise
UX, and modern product development workflows.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user
experiences—from concept to execution
• Translate research insights and user feedback into intuitive flows and highly polished, accessible user interfaces using
Figma
• Lead design efforts across complex product areas with a focus on usability, scalability, and system alignment
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user journeys, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design solutions
• Contribute to usability testing efforts—planning, synthesizing findings, and iterating on designs based on data
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver thoughtful, usercentered
experiences
• Champion design quality, accessibility, and consistency across platforms and devices
• Shape and evolve our design system, contributing patterns, components, and documentation to improve reuse and
cohesion
• Apply strong visual design skills—hierarchy, typography, spacing, color—to elevate product UI and drive clarity
• Advocate for user needs while balancing technical constraints and business goals
• Use rapid prototyping methods to explore ideas, validate assumptions, and guide product decisions
• Mentor junior designers through feedback, design critiques, and paired working sessions to support growth and
elevate team output
• Promote design thinking best practices across the organization and help drive a culture of experimentation, empathy,
and craft

Qualifications

Job Competencies / Qualifications:
• A strong portfolio of shipped digital products that demonstrates your ability to design and build clean, user-focused
interfaces
• Expert in Figma and with deep experience collaborating closely with product designers
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization
• Bonus:
o Advanced knowledge of design tokens and UX pipelines
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in UX or product design, with a strong knowledge of UX principles
• 6+ years of experience with rapid prototyping tools and workflows
• 4+ years designing for enterprise products or large-scale internal tools
• 1+ years working with or adjacent to generative AI and/or machine learning teams
• Solid UX research foundations: ability to read, respond to, or generate insights to guide design decisions
• Experience contributing to and scaling design systems
• Must:
o Exceptional portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process and final outcomes (please include a link in
your resume)
