Overview

Job Title: Product Manager - Marketing Technology

Salary:  $110K - $130K/yr d.o.e.

Location: Remote OK - If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule

Overview:

The Product Manager is the primary go-to for the products they lead, responsible for setting the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution plan. The Product Manager works with a cross functional team consisting of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Designer, Developers, and Quality Analysts to execute on the lifecycle of a product. They leverage domain knowledge, competitive research, industry knowledge, stakeholder input, and customer feedback to evolve their product and meet the mission and goals of the organization.

 

This Product Manager position will focus on New American Funding’s Marketing Technology Products which includes NewAmericanFunding.com, Lead Generation, Search Engine Optimization, Campaign Management, and Experimentation. Experience with B2C Product Management and Marketing Technology is highly preferred.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sets and owns the overall Product Vision and Strategy for assigned product(s) leveraging the company mission and objectives, domain knowledge, competitive research, industry knowledge, stakeholder input, and customer personas and feedback.
  • Creates and maintains a Product Roadmap setting priorities with consideration to business impact, risks, compliance requirements, effort, dependencies, etc.
  • Navigates competing priorities effectively and aligns teams on decisions that maximize business value.
  • Works with a cross functional team consisting of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Designer, Developers, and Quality Analysts to execute on the full lifecycle of a product.
  • Creates Epics and Features with focus on pain points, scope, requirements, and return on investment.
  • Drives execution in collaboration with Engineering and Design teams, making trade-offs, anticipating staffing needs, risks, and ensuring frequent and clear communication.
  • Assists the Engineering and Design teams with removing impediments and blockers where needed.
  • Responds in a timely manner to all team messages, comments, and emails to ensure that development continues to move forward.
  • Defines, tracks, leverages, and communicates Product baseline and impact metrics to inform Product evolution.
  • Ensures stakeholders and business leaders are kept informed through effective engagements and Product Strategy Reviews.
  • Partners with support, training, and business units to ensure a solid Go to Market Strategy and successful release.
  • Works closely with the NAF legal team to ensure that the product continues to stay compliant.
  • Maintains a positive and collaborative approach.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Expectations are not limited to the above.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Prior experience with B2C product development and with managing websites, funnel optimizations, and A/B testing.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  • Prior experience in Mortgage or Real Estate is preferred

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
