Overview

Position: Escrow Analyst

 

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) - first 90 days on-site.

 

Pay Range: $24-$30/hr.

 

Position Summary:

 

The  Escrow Analyst will provide analytical and process improvement support across all areas of Escrow Services, including Escrow Analysis, Tax, MI/PMI, Loss Drafts, and Insurance. This role is responsible for identifying and creating exception reports, driving automation and process enhancements, and developing key documentation such as policies, procedures, and job aids. The Business Analyst will collaborate with teams across Escrow Services to improve efficiency, ensure compliance, and support operation excellence.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze processes across Escrow Services to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain exception reports to monitor trends, identify issues, and enhance decision-making.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to create and refine policies, procedures, and job aids.
  4. Assist in developing and implementing new processes and process enhancements that streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
  5. Partner with Systems team to support automation initiatives, testing, and implementation of enhancements.
  6. Support corrective actions involving all Escrow Services areas.
  7. Assist with special projects and operational initiatives.
  8. Facilitate communication with Servicing Change Management to obtain necessary approvals for documentation publication.
  9. Monitor active document reviews to ensure timely responses.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Desired Education/Experience:

  1. At least 2 years of Mortgage Servicing experience preferred;
  2. In depth knowledge of MSP, with at least 2 years recent experience working with MSP preferred;
  3. Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
  4. Experience with reporting and SQL a plus.

  4. Able to work independently, as well as part of a team;

  6. Excellent business math skills;
  7. Analytical and organized;
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  9. Strong PC skills. Must be proficient in MS Windows, MS Outlook, MS Office Suite, MS Visio, MS SharePoint and MS Project;
  10. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including senior executives, managers, subject matter experts, and third-party business partners.
