Overview

Job Title: Senior Product Manager- Servicing

 

Location: Remote OK - If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule

 

Overview:

This role is the primary go-to for the products that they lead. Senior Product Managers are key in the evolution of a product and always have the wellbeing of the product and its users in mind. Owns the strategic vision and direction for the product by identifying potential opportunities; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies. Constantly comes up with great new feature ideas and thinks critically about which of them will make the biggest impact. Knows how to measure and interpret the results of your team’s efforts. Loves working on teams, side-by-side with the best engineers and designers. Has ability to manage several efforts at once, operate well under pressure, and work effectively to meet deadlines.

Focus and experience with product development specifically in Servicing within the Mortgage industry is required.

 

Compensation: $155-175k DOE

Responsibilities

  • Become an authority on your product area. Identify customer needs and business opportunities through a combination of user research, collecting feedback from cross-functional teammates, diving into data, and competitive analysis.
  • Create and maintain the product roadmaps, with consideration of efforts, sizing, dependencies, compliance requirements. Etc.
  • Work with Associate Director of Product, and Director to understand the business vision and expectations.
  • Define, understand, and improve key funnels, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and Jr. Business Analysts to develop story/feature readiness by partnering up with support and training and clients and any other business units
  • Drive execution against our plan in collaboration with Engineering and Design peers: making trade-offs, anticipating staffing needs, risks, and ensuring frequent and clear communication.
  • Help team with removing impediments and blockers where you can aid.
  • Take initiative to partner with the training teams to ensure that the details being communicated out in the field fall in line with the details of the feature.
  • Play a large role in the release process to ensure a successful release.
  • Working hand in hand with scrum masters to ensure team readiness and remove ambiguity regarding stories and features for sprint planning, sizing, sprint completions, demos to business, and meeting release dates.
  • Assist in determining product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
  • Ensures that usage and reporting is available while tracking and working towards ROI goals.
  • Present new ideas, tools, and resources to improve the product evolution process.
  • Takes initiative to respond to all team messages, comments, and emails to ensure that development continues to move forward.
  • Work closely with NAF legal team to ensure that our product is continuing to stay compliant.
  • Step outside of the comfort zone to learn new skill sets that pertain to our product team needs.
  • Maintain a positive and excited attitude so your team feeds off that energy.
  • Do not wait to be approached by business, always come to business first.
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Expectations are not limited to the above.

Qualifications

  1. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager
  2. Prior experience with product development
  3. Strong communication skills
  4. Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  5. Prior experience in Servicing within the Mortgage industry is preferred
